Lafayette Lawyer for Defective Products, Equipment or Drugs

Lafayette Lawyer for Injuries From Defective Products, Equipment or Drugs

In my nearly 34 years of experience, I have handled hundreds of cases involving defective products and equipment, as well as improperly manufactured drugs. I am an attorney who believes wholeheartedly in personal service and one-on-one communication, and that a small firm can be of big help.

Defective Products

When it comes to our homes, we do not expect a defective hot-water heater to blow up and scald us. When working on offshore platforms, we do not expect machinery to malfunction to the point of injury. Defective valves are part of the problem, too.

When the unexpected happens and results in an injury, as your lawyer, I can help. Whether you are a homeowner or offshore platform worker, I will handle your case personally from beginning to end and provide you with diligent representation focused always on your best interests.

Defective Equipment

If you are a consumer or worker who has been seriously injured using a piece of equipment, machinery or a household product, you should consider whether there was a problem with that product that caused or contributed to the injury. Improperly manufactured tires, equipment made for vehicles or boats, and defective mechanical devices and engines can all malfunction and injury.

Defective/Off-Label Drugs

The big pharmaceutical companies make drugs that are supposed to solve problems, not cause them. The FDA works for us, testing and approving prescription drugs on our behalf. But drugs can still be prescribed in a non-FDA-approved way, that is, off-label use or using the drug for something other than its intended use.

Many prescription drugs with FDA approval have appeared on the market, but still do not seem to have gone through adequate testing. Possible side effects and complications are not spelled out. Drug companies should be held responsible for their negligence.

If you or a family member has been harmed by a prescription medicine or a dangerous drug, I have the experience to handle your product liability case.
